| The suspect
has been instructed to keep watching their raised foot
and to count out loud, but these are not scoring factors.
They are not scored and no points assessed if the suspect
does not follow these instructions. Counting too slow
must be corrected by the officer stopping the test after
thirty seconds have elapsed. Proceeding beyond thirty
seconds may invalidate the test due to the fatigue factor
and this being contrary to the design of the test. If
the suspect counts too fast, have then continue until
thirty seconds have elapsed. |
